Data Analyst - Battery
Siemens is hiring for the role of Data Analyst - Battery!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources including battery management systems (BMS), sensors, and external databases.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows for efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in battery performance data.
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights and predict battery behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, R&D, and product management to define data requirements and analysis objectives.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and key performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of data anomalies or discrepancies and propose solutions for data quality improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and battery analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred, but other fields will be considered.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the energy storage, renewable energy, or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with database systems and query languages for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization libraries for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Motivated to adapt into new technologies.
- Intercultural experience and motivation to work with multicultural teams.
- Good communication and presentation skills and a self-organized way of working in an intercultural environment.
- Knowledge in Battery Management System is a plus.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); German skills are a plus.
- Long-term experience with large storage system is a plus.
