DevOps Engineer
Artoon Solution is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the infrastructure, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.
- Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Deploy and troubleshoot networking, web services, CI/CD, and microservices architecture.
- Gain hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Set up tools and required infrastructure. Optimize infrastructure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Provide an overview of various monitoring and alerting stacks/systems.
- Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
- Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
- Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
- Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.
- Manage periodic reporting on progress to management and customers.
- Requires a high level of dedication and commitment to the company’s technology vision, strategy, and goals. Being available to work long hours when necessary and in critical situations.

Skills:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
- Configuration and management of databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills. Having a problem-solving attitude and the ability to resolve issues in a production environment are essential skills.
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Collaborative team spirit.
- Basic knowledge of LAMP stack server (Apache, Nginx, WordPress, etc.).
- Familiar with AWS services and also hands-on experience with these.
