Skills:

  • Good communication skills- both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Computers - MS Word, MS Excel, PPT, E-mail
  • Ability to speak fluently in English and in Kannada. Tamil in the case of the Ambur unit
  • Good Inter-personal skills

Key Result Areas:

  • Policies and Protocols - 100% adherence to policies and protocols defined at NU Hospitals
  • Statutory Reports and Submissions- 100% adherence to statutory requirements by way of
    internal compliance, collating, submitting, making relevant reports periodically and sharing them
    with designated associates.
  • Recruitment - Meet the manpower requirements in terms of number and more importantly quality
    of recruitment within 30 days of receipt of the Manpower/Replacement Requisition Form
  • Training - Completion of induction within 2 days from the date of joining. Maintenance& execution of the training planner for all departments on a monthly basis.
  • Employee Engagement - Daily rounds to all departments, query resolution within 24 hours, 100%
    population to be covered under employee engagement initiatives every quarter.
  • MIS: On a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis as may be the case. Keka HRMS
    Management for their respective units.
  • Personnel Files-to be maintained as per available checklist on Keka HRMS.
  • Appraisal - In April for all employees on Keka HRMS. To ensure that the end process of appraisal is executed, monitored, and closed out as per timelines& standards defined.
  • Exit Formalities - To be completed on the last working date on Keka HRMS. End to end
    implementation of process

Training:

  • HR Induction to be completed on date of joining through Keka HRMS
  • Inter-departmental induction to be completed within 2 days from date of joining
  • Aiding the HODs in setting training and development programs for existing team members
  • Custodian of Training Planner for all departments
  • 33% of the population to be covered under skip level meets on a monthly basis
  • Employee queries need to be reverted to within 24 hours of receipt of the same.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Meet and connect with employees on a daily basis by way of daily rounds to departments.
  • Highlight employee grievances, and disciplinary issues to HR HOD on the same day for appropriate resolution.
  • Assist with daily rounds to check discipline and grooming.
  • Assist with periodic statutory reports and dashboards to be prepared and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist Manager in payroll processing, duty roster uploads and attendance management.
  • Follow up the reminders & updating the tasks in Google from time to time.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks to be completed from time to time.
  • Assist with all personnel files are to be maintained in complete and up to date on Keka HRMS right from the date of joining.
  • Assist with training, vaccination reports, annual medical check-up reports, memos, special permissions, any change in terms of employment and promotions & increments to be immediately e-filed in the personnel file.
  • Personnel e-file should be audit-ready at any given point in time, full compliance to be ensured.
  • Rechecking the old back dated files as per the checklist every quarter.
  • Disposing / e-filing of files of ex-employees from time to time through MRD after maintaining a tracker.

Annual Appraisal:

  • Coordinate with HODs in completing the appraisal discussion and documentation in appraisal form on Keka HRMS for their respective team members on or before 14th April every year.
  • Collate scores received and make the e-letters and revised salary grid.
  • Ensure that the e-letters are issued to the employees/ medical consultants within 72 hours through Keka HRMS.

Exit Formalities:

  • No dues and exit interview formalities to be completed in the second half of the last working day
    of the employee or consultant.
  • The completely filled-out no dues e-form on Keka HRMS needs to be shared with accounts within
    24 hours for processing of the F & F settlement.
  • Exit-interview form to be uploaded on Keka HRMS
  • Will supervise:The Assistant HR’s day to day activities and KRAs, will make sure discipline, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in and around the department.

Will participate in:

  • Inter-department meetings/quality meetings
  • Committee meeting in the absence of manager/cpo
  • Audits in the absence of the manager/cpo
  • Training sessions
