Senior Full-Stack Engineer
QuillBot is hiring for the role of Senior Full-Stack Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop prototypes from zero to one: develop the code (front-end and back-end) starting from scratch, deploy it, check analytics numbers, and improve based on the analytics numbers and user feedback.
- Hand over finished prototypes to a team that will turn them into scalable production systems and start working on the next prototype.
- Understand and contribute to the road map to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong urge to get things done.
- Technologist at heart who also cares about the users.
- 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience on web and mobile technologies.
- 5+ years of solid experience on JavaScript-based stacks (React, Node, Typescript, etc.) and Python (LangChain, flask, transformers, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Cloud Architecture and deployment (GCP / AWS) and/or Linux experience (nginx / haproxy / bash).
- Strong hold on database technologies (MongoDB, Elastic, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid hold on data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in UI/UX planning and implementation.
- Significant contributions towards an open-source project will be a great plus.
- Experience working in the AI/ML domain is a plus.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel) is a plus.
